Fostering Manchester

Fostering Changes Lives

Family Care is a family-owned service with over 30 years' experience supporting children and young people in care.  Our mission is to significantly improve the lives of the children and young people we work with.

Family Care started with Ged Williamson, a social worker who couldn't find a home for some of the children he supported - so he decided to open one.  Since retiring, his two sons Phil and Andy assumed co-ownership and ensure that we retain that 'family feel'.

But don't take our word for it!

Family Care Fostering are recruiting foster carers in Manchester who want to make a real difference to a child's life.  If you are over the age of 21, have a spare bedroom and the time to give some care to a child, you could become a foster.

Hear from one of our Manchester foster carers Jen on how she sees the role of a foster carer and what it's like to foster with Family Care.
