Become a foster carer in Lancashire
If you have a spare bedroom and time to give care to a child, you could become a foster carer.
You don't need any formal training or qualifications, we will provide you with full training and you have the option of completing a level 3 Diploma in the Children and Young People's Workforce - fully funded by us.
Here are the requirements for fostering;
- Spare bedroom
- Driving license (preferred but not essential)
- British Citizenship or Indefinite Leave to Remain in the UK
- Passionate about making a difference in a young person's life
The application process usually takes between 4-6 months. First we complete a telephone questionnaire with you, followed by a home visit to discuss the ins and outs of fostering in more detail.
With a shortage of over 8,000 foster carers in the next 12-months alone, let 2020 be the year you make a difference in a vulnerable child's life. Make 2020 the year you become a foster carer.
Simply fill in our online enquiry form and one of our fostering experts will give you a call.
